We have had to learn to change and adapt, both personally and as a business to minimise the risk of Covid19. We have done this as unobtrusively as possible so you can continue to enjoy your stay. This information shows what actions we are taking to minimise the risk.
Please help us by arriving as close as possible to your stated arrival time. If you are able to depart by 10am to allow us to prepare the room for our next guests, we would be grateful. If you feel unwell whilst with us please inform us immediately.
At the moment our minimum stay is 3 nights so we have the minimum amount of footfall in the B & B to reduce the risk of infection.
To make checking out contactless we ask where possible if you could settle your bill on departure by bank transfer.
Hand sanitiser is provided at the entrance to the B & B, in your room and in the dining room.
We only have 2 rooms so at the very most there will only ever be 2 other guests in our B & B.
We will meet you on arrival keeping our distance and show you to your room.
We are sorry but we cannot offer our usual tea & coffee with a chat welcome but there will be tea, coffee and biscuits in your room. We will see you at breakfast where we will be able to discuss your stay with us and impart our local knowledge.
All rooms will be thoroughly cleaned and disinfected in between guests. We will remove all throws, cushions and rugs from the rooms to reduce the risk of passing on the virus.
Breakfast will be served at the table in the Dining room. All food, drink, sauces and jams will be specific for you and will not be re-used again with any other guest afterwards.
Breakfast times can be staggered with other guests to ensure minimum contact but there is sufficient room in the dining room to maintain a social distance from other guests.
To minimise risk we will only enter bedrooms during the duration of your stay to clear any rubbish, empty the bins and top up provisions. If guests prefer us not to enter they can leave any rubbish and the bins outside their rooms daily. We ask guests to open windows to ventilate the room as frequently as possible. There will be increased cleaning frequency of high touch points in public areas.
